Rebecca was born a prisoner in her village, Santa Mora. A paradise protected by its people from which one cannot leave. Her boyfriend’s family, the leaders of the place, set the rules, in order to preserve its perfection, values and natural beauty. No one knows the life behind the borders that protect it and keep it hidden from the world. To be born there is considered a privilege by everyone, except for this defiant young girl and her endless dreams. Together with her childhood sweetheart and future mayor of the region, they plan to escape and be free. An almost impossible task, until the arrival of the internet, which, added to her unstoppable rebelliousness, will lead her to discover the great mystery covered by lies, power and dark business that surrounds them, putting them at risk, wanting to kill their relationship.
She already knows this. She is different. She is awake. She is bold. She is a woman. There is a prophecy to fulfil. Leaving the prison she doesn’t deserve, and choosing her future, may cost her life and the lives of those she loves, but the price is worth it because Rebecca is a fighter. And she is ready to rise again.
