A Plan for Pepita by Mariana Etcheberry
Sometimes all we need is to allow the magic of friendship to enter our lives.
Pepita, an elderly lady with a spirit hardened by loneliness and the loss of her husband Casiano, leads a reclusive life and finds entertainment in annoying those who ring her doorbell with absurd arguments. However, her monotonous existence is shaken when destiny crosses her with Enzo, a nine-year-old boy who lives on the street with his older brothers, desperately searching for useful objects among the garbage to survive in their humble home and neighborhood. The encounter seems to be the clash of two completely opposite universes. What could they have in common? At first glance, absolutely nothing. However, during a crazy conversation, they discover something that unites them in an exciting adventure: a note left by Casiano before his death. Thus, Pepita and Enzo, two solitary and seemingly opposite souls, transform each other as they embark on this exciting literary quest. Their chance encounter becomes proof that fate can bring the most unlikely people together.
