The Fairy Ada by Marcela Citterio
Someone capable of hiding their wings for love
Ada is an air fairy who, unlike others of her kind—the fairies—cannot get wet to her liking, as uncontrollable events occur, such as suddenly growing wings. Although it might seem natural for fairies to sprout wings, it is not convenient for Ada because she had to land on Earth with the sole purpose of better caring for the twins, Bianca and Morena, who never stop getting into trouble and causing mischief. Thus, Ada begins to navigate a foreign world full of surprises, like the human world. Meanwhile, Ada, a novice and inexperienced in her task, must tackle the challenges as best as she can, since her status as an aspiring GODMOTHER FAIRY, in all capital letters, clashes with her lack of patience, impulsiveness, constant distractions, and extreme clumsiness.
Everything is going wonderfully. Despite some minor inconveniences not worth mentioning, Ada adapts very well and fulfills her role perfectly until Nicolás, the girls' older brother, returns from London and gradually becomes the impossible love of this modern caretaker. Her wings grow at all times, her bell trembles, her pulse shakes, and her heart awakens. Love and envy, jealousy and tenderness, and all emotions together are activated in both worlds in parallel: the world of fairies and the dreadful witches, and the world of humans.
Fasten your seatbelts because this journey begins with stops at different scenarios and planes, leaving no room for boredom.
