The disappearance of a young woman is suspected to be the first fatality linked to the political crisis brought on by the Catalan independence movement, known as el procés, in Spain. The situation becomes emotionally and politically complex as a family fractures due to ideological differences, while the mother gradually loses her memory.
What would happen if a young woman went missing, and the initial evidence suggested she could be the first victim of el procés, just before the verdict was released for the trial of the politicians who declared Catalonia’s independence?
