Daring by Carolina Parmo.
Everyone loves Cintia. Everyone but her
Cintia, a woman in her late forties, is at a point in her life where certainties are scarce. She has discovered that she was never who she wanted to be and that she has become a slave to love, just as she was taught to feel it. However, fate gives her a chance to start again, to be authentic and discover the profound power of her own sexuality, taking advantage of her freedom and taking risks. The irrepressible and seductive urge to commit the sins she never allowed herself to commit presents itself to her as a temptation that is hard to resist. Even if it means confronting a marriage in which they both promised each other to play a role, to understand the independence of their children and to accept that some dreams, at some point, no longer include the family.
And that is because Cintia, the “perfect” one, is going to start doing things wrong. Very badly. She is going to lie. To betray. To hurt. And, as death sur- rounds her, she will have to face the consequences of showing herself to be a woman and a human being. Because since the beginning of time, to dare to be yourself, you have to be daring.
