Chronic connection by Marcela Citterio

Seventeen-year-old Robin, an expert showjumper, a girl who has always had it all, is about to face her greatest challenge. Her life, centred on her beloved horse Brusset, falls apart when an accident at a competition in Wellington leaves her blind and throws her existence into chaos. Robin, used to a world of luxury and control, becomes a reckless, explosive and capricious millionaire, impossible to control. No one can control her... Except him.
Callum Scott, an English nurse who was in Wellington at the time of the accident, is the only one who can keep Robin from hurting herself, to the point that Robin's father hires him as her full-time nurse in Manhattan. Brusset, also blind from the accident, joins Robin on a journey of recovery and resilience. As Robin struggles with her new reality, Callum becomes her anchor. Despite her difficult character, she can't help but have feelings for the nurse who seems to understand her better than anyone else. However, outside forces conspire to drive them apart. Just as Robin undergoes an operation to restore her sight, Callum mysteriously disappears, leaving a profound void in her life.
Five years later, in remote Calafate, in the south of the world, Robin has lost everything: her millions and Brusset, for whom she searches tirelessly. Now the owner of a small inn, she struggles to survive while trying to find her lost horse, knowing that he is somewhere in Argentina. One day, she receives an unexpected offer: a famous English singer, Milo MacQuaid, wants to rent her inn for a private retreat. Desperate for money, Robin accepts. But when Milo arrives, he is shocked to see Robin. Milo is none other than Callum Scott, her former nurse. Although Robin doesn't recognise his face, Callum remembers her perfectly. What follows is a whirlwind of emotions and revelations. Callum, now under a new identity, must decide whether to reveal himself to Robin and confront the past that tore them apart. Robin, not knowing who Milo really is, is drawn to him, but also struggles with her own demons and Brusset's quest. Fate has given them a second chance - can they overcome the obstacles that keep them apart and find their way back to each other? And what will happen when Robin finally discovers Milo's true identity?
Those who have witnessed their love story say that there is a chronic connection between them, a bond so strong that not even darkness could break it. Unbroken like an eternal melody.
